New York, NY – November 6, 2019 – 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”) today announced the election of two new Global Association Board members: Dr. Ulrike Hoffmann-Burchardi and Ms. Michelle Morris.

100WF is a global, practitioner-driven organization that serves more than 15,000 professionals in the finance and alternative investment industries. The organization operates in 24 official locations on four continents.

Dr. Hoffmann-Burchardi (pictured left) oversees a global equity portfolio inside Tudor Investment Corporation’s flagship client strategy. She is a member of Tudor’s strategy committee and its quantitative investment committee. In addition to her work as a portfolio manager, she is an advocate for STEM education in grades K-12 and she serves as a coach for the FIRST Robotics League, where her students won the 2019 Global Innovation Award for New York City.

Ms. Morris (pictured right) is an Executive Director in the Alternative Investments Group of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where she is a product specialist responsible for facilitating business development with financial advisors across multiple strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, private credit, private real estate and infrastructure. She is additionally a board member of Brightpoint Health in New York City.

Lauren Malafronte, Chair of 100WF’s Global Association Board said, “Speaking for the Board and 100WF’s global membership, we warmly welcome Ulrike and Michelle to the Board and eagerly anticipate their contributions.”  She continued, “Their service will coincide with an exciting time in the organization’s near twenty-year history, in which our mission to empower women at each career stage will extend to include serving those in the critical pre-career years. We believe that we have a special opportunity to create impact – both by increasing the number of women on investment teams and in executive leadership, and by providing pathways into the finance industry for young women of all backgrounds. I’m thrilled that Ulrike and Michelle have joined the Board and will enhance our ability to fulfill our mission through their governance role.”

The new Board members’ three-year terms of service begin on January 1, 2020.

The Board announces no Board retirements at this time.
