Education Session No. 1025
Climate Risk Disclosure: Stepping up to Climate Risk Disclosure

Regulators are moving to enact binding disclosure obligations on companies and, more recently, on asset owners. Companies increasingly face lawsuits for failing to disclose the potential impacts of climate change on their businesses. What does this mean for investors and investment managers?

Get an overview of the global regulatory arena of climate risk disclosure, following the Paris Accord of 2018. Learn about the factors behind the growing momentum to hold companies accountable. How are Australian asset owners and their advisers dealing with assessment and disclosure in this environment? What are the new tools and approaches available to investment analysts (and others) to evaluate climate risk disclosure?

Attendees will enjoy a sandwich lunch.

This is a live video conference and will be simulcast in Melbourne. When you register, please indicate whether you will attend in person in Sydney or view the simulcast at Mercer’s office in Melbourne.
