Education Session No. 1037
The Rise of Senior Allocator Women

How do women rise to the role of institutional investors? Gain insights into the typical and atypical journeys that senior women have taken to serve in this role, and learn about how they have risen through the ranks and navigated various challenges. Consider how gender may influence an institutional investor’s perspective and also the perceptions of her colleagues, clients and those who seek to engage with her on the investment side. Do women have a distinctive view of fiduciary responsibility?

Reflect on these experiences as you break into roundtables for small group discussion. Later, share your views as you network with colleagues over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
