Non-consensus investing means ask the right questions as you conduct your own analysis, then follow the data to discover undervalued opportunities, while you avoid losers. Rupal J. Bhansali, Chief Investment Officer of Global Equities at Ariel Investments in New York and author, will reveal the pros and cons of active and passive investing, and also discuss where she currently finds the biggest threats and opportunities in the global markets. She counsels how to build a foresight portfolio, instead of a hindsight one.

Bhansali herself epitomizes the non-consensus and counter-intuitive approach to investing and is passionate about imparting her wisdom to the next generation. She is among the 1.3% of female portfolio managers solely managing two mutual funds in the U.S. and one of the few women on the Barron’s Annual Roundtable which showcases “ten of the smartest investors on Wall Street”. In addition, 100 Women in Finance awarded Bhansali the 2019 North American Industry Leadership Award and you are invited to read the announcement.
