APRIL 1, 2020, NEW YORK, 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”) announces the naming of Chaitali Patel as its Global Director of Pre-Career Initiatives. In this new position, Ms. Patel will direct 100WF’s strategic efforts to encourage young women of all backgrounds to pursue careers in the finance industry.
Chaitali Patel, Global Director of Pre-Career Initiatives, 100 Women in Finance
Ms. Patel has wide experience in social impact, and in the finance and fintech sectors. She is the founder of Evergood, a social impact consulting firm, and previously was Chief External Affairs Officer at a major national military family service organization in the US. In her fifteen-year financial industry career, she held senior roles in wealth management, corporate trust services, family office and commercial credit solutions. She holds BBA in finance from the University of North Texas, an executive certificate from Georgetown University in financial planning, and an MBA from the University of Utah’s Eccles School of Business (all in the US).
Based in on the east coast of the US, Ms. Patel will report to Amanda Pullinger, 100WF’s CEO.
Ms. Patel’s duties will include building structure for 100WF’s global pre-career initiatives, including a framework for global and local program partners, involving due diligence, impact assessment and 100WF member volunteer engagement. She will also design communications strategies to reach pre-career young women, and support the CEO with fundraising communication for corporate and individual supporters.
Ms. Pullinger stated, “I am excited to welcome Chaitali to the team and to fill this senior leadership role with someone of Chaitali’s level of experience and passion for our mission. If we are to realize 100WF’s vision of 30×40, in which women perform 30% of investment and executive team roles in the finance industry by 2040, we must be intentional with introducing the many opportunities and role models to pre-career young women. Chaitali will bring that focus.”
Ms. Patel’s assumes the Global Director of Pre-Career Initiatives position today.
