(NEW YORK, MAR. 7, 2025) – 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”), a global nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential, successfully hosted its annual London Gala at the Victoria & Albert Museum in South Kensington on March 5, 2025. The evening brought together more than 260 finance professionals, sponsors, and supporters to champion the advancement of women in finance.
Funds raised at the Gala will support 100WF’s global programs and initiatives, ensuring that women at every stage of their careers have access to the resources, networks, and opportunities needed to thrive in the industry.
A key highlight of the evening was the presentation of 100WF’s prestigious annual awards. Karin van Baardwijk, CEO of Robeco Asset Management, was honored with the EMEA Industry Leadership Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions to financial services and her dedication to raising industry standards. This Award is presented annually in recognition of exemplary professional talent, business ethics, and passion for investing that further define and advance the industry’s standards of excellence.
In the corporate category, Man Group was awarded the EMEA Industry DEI Award for its outstanding commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the finance sector. The firm has taken a proactive approach, implementing both internal and external initiatives designed to attract, develop, and retain talent from more diverse backgrounds. Through strategic partnerships and targeted programs, Man Group is working to embed inclusivity across its workforce and the broader industry, ensuring that meaningful change is both actionable and sustainable. By prioritizing DEI as a core value, the firm continues to play a pivotal role in shaping a more equitable and representative investment landscape.
Finalists for the award included Franklin Templeton and The Maples Group, each of whom demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing diversity within their organizations.
“This evening set the stage for a new chapter of 100 Women in Finance,” said Kellan Brown, Chief Operating and Chief Development Officer at 100WF. “We serve to advance each woman at every stage of their career. With our new CEO, our dedicated volunteers, and innovative programming, we are poised for impactful growth.”
“As Co-Chairs of this year’s London Gala, we are honored to have gathered such an inspiring group of finance professionals and supporters who share our commitment to advancing women at every career stage,” stated Valentina Gentile and Zeynep Bayazid. “The energy in the room was a testament to the collective progress we are making, and we are proud to contribute to 100 Women in Finance’s mission. The London Gala has long been a key fundraiser, enabling 100WF’s efforts to drive meaningful change. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, sponsors, and donors, we have raised significant funds to support programs that educate, connect, and empower women in finance. With International Women’s Day approaching, we are reminded that our work is far from done. Each conversation, connection, and contribution brings us closer to Vision 30/40, ensuring greater representation of women in senior investment and executive roles by 2040.”
100 Women in Finance extends its gratitude to all attendees, sponsors, the London Gala Committee, and volunteers who made this evening possible. And to everyone who attended, contributed, and supported—thank you for being part of this journey.
