The Milan Committee of 100 Women in Finance successfully concluded its 2025 Mentoring Program. The program brought together more than 50 professionals from across the financial industry for a year of structured guidance, learning, and personal development. This edition centered around three core themes designed to support participants in shaping their professional identity and trajectory:
- What do I stand for?
- Make your voice heard
- How powerful is your network?
These topics anchored a journey that combined self-reflection with practical tools for leadership, communication, and career growth.
This year’s program incorporated PerformanSe assessments, which offered participants a structured view of their motivations and soft skills. Sabyne Moras guided the participants in interpreting the results, adding depth and self-awareness to the mentoring journey.
The design and implementation of the program were once again guided by Erika Perez of Chaberton, who for the second consecutive year helped us shape the structure, content and flow of the mentoring journey as well as matching of the mentor/mentee pairs. Her experience in executive search and talent advisory has been instrumental in aligning the program with the real needs and aspirations of our community.
Throughout the year, the program was enriched by the voices of distinguished speakers who generously shared their experiences, lessons, and motivation: Donatella Ceccarelli, Sara Burigo, Monica Marzinotto, Gaia Carbone, Paola Boromei, Anna Maria Ricco, Laura Orlando, and Chiara Verderio. Their contributions added depth and inspiration, offering the participants diverse perspectives on leadership and career evolution. We are grateful to BlackRock’s WIN team, who generously hosted our gatherings and made these meetings as well as the closing event possible.
The closing event on 4 December celebrated the relationships built across the year — mentor/mentee pairs, peer connections, and a wider community committed to supporting one another. As 100 Women in Finance continues to advance women at every career stage, the success of this program underscores the power of shared knowledge, intentional growth, and the strength of our network.
