Demystifying Investment Markets: Opportunities Beyond Equities

Jul 7, 2025

On 3rd July, 100 Women in Finance Early Career committee in Singapore organized “Demystifying Investment Markets: Opportunities Beyond Equities,” hosted by The Female Bond Fellowship (FBF).

FBF’s founder, Urvi Guglani shared insights on the evolving investment landscape beyond traditional equities, and worked with attendees to understand the key aspects of fixed income as an asset class for investing and how this differs from traditional equities. She also shed light on how attendees could broaden their understanding of building resilient portfolios in today’s dynamic market environment.

The evening concluded with a fun and thought-provoking debate session, where attendees challenged their own biases and exchanged views on bonds versus equities. Afterwards, attendees shared their views during an engaging networking reception, giving everyone the chance to reflect on what they learned and forged new connections within the industry.

We are grateful to The Female Bond Fellowship for hosting 100WF, and to our dedicated 100WF volunteers who made this event possible.

We look forward to welcoming even more early-career professionals to future events — let’s continue to demystify the markets together and grow our community of women in finance.
