Elaine Co, co-founder and General Partner, recently launched TenSquared Capital (10SQ), a growth equity firm in the digital assets ecosystem (DAE) space. 10SQ invests in the equities of private blue chip blockchain technology companies at their business inflection points on their way to becoming future technology leaders in the digital assets ecosystem space.
Formed and backed by a deeply entrenched DAE investing team, 10SQ’s primary objective is to deliver to its LPs fundamentally based upside exposure leveraged to blockchain technology innovations while mitigating crypto sector volatility downside risk. It aims to realize its vision through a thoughtful structure built on good governance, alignment and transparency.
With over two decades of experience in the investment/alternatives space, prior to 10SQ, Elaine was Founder and Managing Partner of BluMandarin Capital Ltd, a private investment firm that identified and incubated best of breed Asia investment managers as long-term stewards of capital, launching Stillbrook Capital in 2021. Prior to founding BluMandarin, Elaine co-founded Janchor Partners Ltd Hong Kong in 2009, grew it from US$23mm startup inception to US$4Bn institutional stalwart by 2018. Previously, Elaine was with Morgan Stanley’s Financial Institutions Group M&A and Structured Products division in NY.
Named one of the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds in 2013 by peer and allocator surveys, Elaine received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, completed the Harvard AMP program, and received her BA from the Ateneo de Manila University.
