Celebrating 25 Years of 100 Women in Finance
For 25 years, 100 Women in Finance has connected, advanced, and empowered women across the global finance industry.
What began as a network of women committed to strengthening opportunity and visibility in finance has grown into a global community spanning career stages, regions, and sectors. As we mark this milestone anniversary, we celebrate the people, programs, partnerships, and volunteer leadership that continue to move our mission forward.
25 Years of Impact
Over the past 25 years, 100 Women in Finance has built a global platform dedicated to advancing women in the finance industry through education, peer engagement, philanthropy, and meaningful connection.
Our anniversary year will spotlight the programs and people that bring this mission to life, including initiatives that support career development, industry leadership, pre career engagement, investment education, and community building.

Ideas. Passion. Commitment.
That’s how the story begins.
In 2001, three women came together with a simple belief: women in finance should have a space to learn, connect, and give back.
What began as 100 Women in Hedge Funds in New York City has grown into 100 Women in Finance, a global community spanning 33 locations and 10,000 members worldwide.
From the beginning, this has been a community built by people. Volunteers across the world dedicate their time and expertise to bring the mission to life, creating more than 300 events each year and strengthening connections at every stage of their career.
For more than two decades, 100WF has created space for women to be seen, heard, and recognized. It is where confidence is built, careers advance, and leadership takes shape.
Progress is real, but not complete. Gaps in leadership, pay, and opportunity remain, and addressing them requires continued action.
That is why 100 Women in Finance continues to push forward, working with its global community to drive awareness, inspire action, and help shape a more equitable industry.
The future is clear: a finance industry where opportunity is defined by merit. And it is already being built through ideas, passion, and commitment.
