October 1, 2021, NEW YORK, 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”) announces the naming of Allison Jegla as its Global Director of Impact. In this new position, Ms. Jegla will manage key initiatives and partnerships to advance 100WF’s strategic efforts to encourage young women of all backgrounds to pursue careers in the finance industry.
Allison Jegla, Global Director of Impact, 100 Women in Finance
Allison Jegla is a social impact leader and higher education strategist. She holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University. While at Harvard, she participated in the Harvard Higher Education Forum, consulted for the National Center for Rural Education Research Networks, and was a recipient of the Phyllis Strimling Award in recognition of her work in advancing women in society. She is the co-author of the upcoming book Becoming Great Universities, set for publication by Princeton University Press in February 2022. Ms. Jegla previously served as Senior Vice President of the Joyce Ivy Foundation.
Based on the east coast of the US, Ms. Jegla will report to Chaitali Patel, 100WF’s Chief Impact Officer.
Ms. Jegla’s portfolio will include launching and scaling 100WF’s education and career launch programs, building university partnerships, and managing relationships with impact organizations across 100WF’s global footprint. She will also design communications strategies to reach pre-career young women, and support the leadership with fundraising communication for corporate and individual supporters.
