Karina Fin is a global talent acquisition leader and career coach with over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She currently leads full-time and campus recruiting, diversity sourcing strategy and talent marketing at Pzena Investment Management, ~$70B global value investment manager. She also steers the charity/volunteer committee of the DEI advisory group. Prior, she managed a team of full lifecycle recruiters at Capital One Commercial Bank. Before that, Karina managed firm-wide recruitment at MKP Capital, a global macro alternative investment manager. She started her career at Balyasny Asset Management, a global multi-strategy investment firm, sourcing and conducting due diligence on portfolio managers and analysts. Karina is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business and is certified by iPEC as a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. She loves globetrekking and has visited over 50 countries. She resides in NYC with her husband and two daughters.
Karina is passionate to support people throughout their career path from college students to executives by mentoring, coaching, bridging connections and aligning people with fulfilling and impactful careers. As a first generation college graduate and daughter of immigrant parents, Karina didn’t have any finance mentors in the industry growing up. Karina joined 100 Women in Finance shortly after graduating in 2008 as an early career member in the hedge fund industry drawn to the education, professional leverage and philanthropy pillars. When she was living in Hong Kong in 2013, she volunteered with 100 WF’s inaugural Hong Kong Gala committee. Upon returning to New York, she joined the 100WF Communications committee. After volunteering at the 2017 New York Gala, she joined the fundraising committee and most recently chaired the 23rd Annual Gala at Cipriani 42.
