Oct 1, 2025

On 24 September 100WF’s Luxembourg committee organised “AI Take 2 – The AI Playground: An Immersive Storytelling Event”, sponsored by Franklin Templeton and hosted by PwC Luxembourg. 100WF members can view the recording here. Following opening remarks by Keiko Kojima Glodt from MUFG, and a member of the 100WF Luxembourg committee Lauren Williams and Yana Bagryanskaya from, PwC Luxembourg gave an inspiring address on supporting women in the finance industry. Heidi Helwagen from BBH hosted a fun and engaging quiz before the immersive storytelling began:

Episode Highlights:

  • Episode I The Pragmatic Vision: Kasia Majchrzak from Franklin Templeton shared an asset manager’s perspective, posing the bold question: “Are we ready to shape the future?” — and closing with a strong call to action.
  • Episode II The Eco-System: Nasir Zubairi from Lofht shared his perspective on how Luxembourg’s ecosystem is supporting AI developments, and offered a philosophical reflection on the dilemma we face: to stay behind is to lose — yet unchecked rapid advances may be dangerous for humanity.
  • Episode III The Disruptor: Lily Wang from Expon Capital  and Jean-Christophe Denis from Cascade brought the Fintech / Startup / VC perspective in an energetic fireside chat, highlighting the need to embrace a true venture mindset — including accepting failure — as we implement new technologies.
  • Episode IV The Enabler: Thierry Kremser from PwC Luxembourg explored the Service Provider perspective, sharing a concrete action plan with real examples of AI implementation, and highlighting the support available from Luxembourg’s regulators and policymakers.

Nancy Rowe from Franklin Templeton, wrapped up the episodes with thoughtful reflections on the stories shared and Sandra Duverger from Gen II and a Luxembourg committee member, closed the event, inviting attendees to network, engage in meaningful conversations, and explore AI opportunities and games during the reception. We are grateful to event sponsors, PwC Luxembourg and Franklin Templeton, for their hospitality, and to our speakers for generously sharing their expertise. This event would not have been possible without our dedicated Luxembourg event group: Birgit Moeltner, Isabelle Nicks, Sandra Duverger, Yana Bagryanskaya, Carolina Covaci, Heidi Helwagen, and Keiko Kojima Glodt.
