London – January 26, 2022 – 100 Women in Finance (100WF), a global finance industry organization, announced today that Beatriz Martin, Group Treasurer and UK Chief Executive of UBS Group AG, will receive its 2022 EMEA Industry Leadership Award (The Award). The Award is presented annually in recognition of exemplary professional talent, business ethics, and passion for investing that further define and advance the industry’s standards of excellence. Ms. Martin will be honored for this achievement at the 100WF Gala on April 6th at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Ms. Martin has been the Group Treasurer at UBS Group AG since 2020 and is also the UK Chief Executive for UBS Group AG, a position she’s held since 2018. She joined UBS in 2012 as Chief of Staff to the CEO of the Investment Bank and then served as UK Chief Operating Officer for UBS AG London Branch from 2014 – 2019 and Global Chief Operating Officer for UBS Investment Bank from 2015 – 2020. Before joining UBS, Ms. Martin held senior positions at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.

Funds raised at the 100WF London Gala will benefit the organization’s Investing in the Next Generation initiative, which supports 100WF pre-career programs as well as local program partners who prepare and encourage pre-career young women of all backgrounds to pursue pathways into the finance industry.
