100 Women in Finance Announces New Global Association Board Members

New York, NY – December 9, 2020  – 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”) today announced the election of four new Global Association Board members: Rupal J. Bhansali, Carole K. Crawford, CFA, Barbara G. Novick and J. Becket Wolf. The new Board members’ three-year terms of service begin on January 1, 2021. Concurrently, 100WF announces the retirements of Board members Jane Abitanta and Joanne Pace.

100WF is a global finance industry organization with nearly 20,000 registered members. The organization is headquartered in New York and operates in 26 official global locations on five continents.

 

  • Rupal J. Bhansali is Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of international and global equity strategies at Ariel Investments, based in New York. She is a member of Barron’s Investment Roundtable and a sought-after speaker and commentator at industry conferences and with the financial news media. She is the author of Non-Consensus Investing: Being Right When Everyone Else Is Wrong and was 100WF’s 2019 North America Industry Leadership honoree. She was featured on Barron’s “Top 100 Most Influential Women in US Finance” List in 2020. Mrs. Bhansali also serves on the Advisory Board of The Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership and is on the Investment Committee of The National WWII Museum Endowment.
  • Carole K. Crawford, CFA is founder and Managing Partner of fincap360, which develops venture portfolios for entrepreneurial family offices. She founded and chairs 100 Women in Finance’s 100WFinTech visibility initiative for women in senior fintech roles. Ms. Crawford further serves on the CFA Institute’s SGI Board of Regents and its Capital Markets Policy Council, as well as CFANY’s Board of Directors. She founded and chairs CFANY’s Fintech Thought Leadership Group and was recognized by NYC FinTech Women as a 2020 Inspiring FinTech Female.
  • Barbara G. Novick is Vice Chairman and co-founder of BlackRock, and a member of its Global Executive Committee, Enterprise Risk Committee, Geopolitical Risk Committee, Sustainable Finance Task Force, and External Affairs Committee. In her current role, Ms. Novick oversees BlackRock’s global efforts for public policy. She is an Executive Committee member of the Investment Company Institute and serves on MSCI’s Editorial Advisory Board. She is further a current member of the Peterson Institute for International Economics Board, the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation, the Center for Financial Stability Advisory Board, and the Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership Advisory Board. Ms. Novick previously served on the Cornell University Board and the Westchester Jewish Center board and coached in the Westchester Youth Soccer League. In 2013, she was recognized with 100WF’s Effecting Change Award at the organization’s New York Gala.
  • J. Becket Wolf is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Privet Capital, LLC, a single-family office. Earlier he was Managing Director in the Hedge Fund Solutions Group at The Blackstone Group, and Head of Fundamental Credit for Citadel. Mr. Wolf additionally serves on the Board of Directors for Bronxville (NY) Youth Lacrosse Association.
