100 Women in Finance names Sarah Finley, Global Director, FundWomen

Apr 17, 2023

New York, NY – 17 April 2023 – 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”) is pleased to announce the addition of Sarah Finley as Global Director of its FundWomen initiative, effective April 17, 2023.

Sarah Finley, Global Director, FundWomen

FundWomen addresses the under-representation of women in investment roles and promotes the public perception of women as investment leaders. By increasing the visibility of today’s female investment managers, we are motivating the next generation of female investment talent to take on these roles.

Ms. Finley brings over 13 years’ industry experience in direct capital raising, relationship management and capital introduction roles at global alternative asset management firms, and most recently as the Head of Strategic Partnerships at iConnections.  She brings a global network of fund managers and institutional allocators combined with a passion for spotlighting diverse talent in the alternative fund industry.  Ms. Finley holds a Bachelor of Arts from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

Based in London and reporting directly to Amanda Pullinger, CEO of 100WF, Ms. Finley will be responsible for: developing and executing the strategic plan for the FundWomen initiative; growing access to institutional allocators and fund managers for Global FundWomen Week (“GFWW”), developing peer engagement opportunities for FundWomen and allocators during the year and ensuring the growth of our FundWomen and Allocator Showcase visibility initiatives. Ms. Finley, will collaborate with Lois Wilkins, Executive Producer of 100WF GFWW, to compliment the remarkable work Ms. Wilkins has done producing and executing this conference over the last couple of years. Additionally, their combined work will be advantageous to the development and implementation of the newly acquired Impact Investing Symposium, previously a High Water Women conference for investors and investment professionals.

100WF’s CEO, Amanda Pullinger, stated “We’re tremendously excited that Sarah is joining us.  Sarah’s experience, and passion for our mission, will help realize 100WF’s 30/40 Vision, where women perform 30% of senior investment and executive team roles in the finance industry by 2040. In this newly formed strategic position, Sarah’s leadership will be foundational in enabling us to build out FundWomen, increase the visibility of female fund managers, strengthen connections with allocators, and enhance capital flows to female-led teams.”

“FundWomen has demonstrated the value of galvanizing networks of female fund managers and institutional allocators to transform the flow of capital,” said Ms. Finley. “100WF is an extraordinary organization and I am both excited and honored to be working with such an exceptional team and volunteers to grow and realize the enormous impact of FundWomen”.
