Members in Brazil recently gathered to celebrate 25 years of 100 Women in Finance and our ongoing commitment to advancing women in the industry through education, professional connections, and a global network.
Hosted by UBS, the event, “Brazil 2026: Navigating Elections, External Shocks and Fiscal Pressures,” featured a timely discussion on Brazil’s economic outlook as the country approaches a pivotal election cycle. Against a backdrop of fiscal pressures, shifting market expectations, and increasing geopolitical uncertainty, participants explored the key factors shaping the investment landscape for 2026.
Attendees heard from leading economists Adriana Dupita of Bloomberg Economics and Solange Srour of UBS Global Wealth Management, who shared their perspectives on the economic outlook and the implications for investors and market participants navigating a complex and evolving environment.
Both economists highlighted concerns regarding Brazil’s fiscal situation and the policy decisions that will be made by the next administration. While acknowledging the challenges ahead, they also discussed areas of opportunity and resilience within the economy.
Thank you to UBS for hosting this event and supporting meaningful conversations that help our members stay informed and connected. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to an engaging and insightful discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing Brazil in the years ahead.
