Carolanne Minashi of HSBC will receive 100 Women in Finance’s 2023 EMEA Industry Leadership Award

London – 2 February 2023 – 100 Women in Finance (100WF), a global finance industry organization, announced today that Carolanne Minashi, Global Head of Inclusion at HSBC, will receive its 2023 EMEA Industry Leadership Award. The Award is presented annually in recognition of exemplary professional talent, business ethics and passion for investing that further define and advance the industry’s standards of excellence. Ms. Minashi will be honored for this achievement at the 100WF Gala on March 7th at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Carolanne Minashi is the Global Head of Inclusion at HSBC and is based in London. She is a renowned D&I expert with a deep track record of making a measurable impact. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Employee Relations and Health & Wellbeing. Prior to joining HSBC in 2021, Carolanne was Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion at UBS and previously, she was at Citi where she started her career. Carolanne is a member of the Women’s Leadership Board at the Harvard Kennedy School and a member of the European Advisory Board for Catalyst, a leading organization focused on accelerating female progression in the workplace. Carolanne is currently researching the impact of the Menopause on Women in Senior Leadership positions, and how women can prepare for and tackle it alongside highly demanding senior roles. Outside of work, Carolanne and her husband Mark live in Hertfordshire, where they have 4 children and have an informally adopted a 5th who is a child survivor of the Rwandan genocide. She is a member and student of the Royal School of Needlework based at Hampton Court Palace.
