11th March 2021 – 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”), a global finance industry network of nearly 20,000 registered members, today announced that its 2021 Global FundWomen Week, the largest global gathering of asset allocators and female investment managers, will be held virtually from 20-24 September 2021.

The annual conference centers on meetings between leading female managers and institutional allocators. These self-scheduled meetings are complemented by coffee chat sessions and thought leadership content.

Amanda Pullinger, CEO, 100WF, said: “After the success of our 2020 event, we are excited to partner again with iConnections for our next Global FundWomen Week. Gender diversity has been shown to increase fund performance and our Global FundWomen Week will shine a light on women-led investment teams, showcase the brightest minds in our industry and promote gender and ethnic diversity within the institutional investment community.”

100WF guiding vision is for women to make up 30% of investment teams and finance industry executive positions by 2040, globally. The Global FundWomen Week is part of 100WF’s FundWomen initiative which promotes female investment professionals and encourages stronger relationships with the institutional investment community.

Ron Biscardi, CEO for iConnections, said: “Supporting diversity in our industry is vitally important, which is why we are proud to be hosting the 2021 Global FundWomen Week through our platform. The conference is a unique opportunity to expand networks, build relationships with leading female-led funds, be inspired by leaders in our industry and, ultimately, connect manager and allocator capital – empowering, celebrating and supporting women in our industry.”
