New York – 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”) announces its 2020 Global FundWomen Week, a virtual conference for female fund managers to connect with qualified institutional investors and investment consultants committed to placing capital with women-led investment teams. The event is an expression of 100WF’s guiding Vision for 30×40, in which women will perform 30% of investment team and finance industry executive roles by 2040, globally.
Global FundWomen Week continues the tradition of 100WF’s regional FundWomen conferences which have historically taken place in San Francisco, New York and London. For the first time, the conference will include participants from the APAC region and Australia.
The week-long virtual event (9-13 November) will feature self-scheduled meetings among conference participants and a series of thought leadership webinar programs relevant to those who manage funds or professionally allocate investment capital. 100WF members who are not otherwise involved in 2020 Global FundWomen Week are invited to attend the conference’s webinar programs (registration information will be provided by email and on 100WF’s website in the coming weeks).
Conference Registration is open now for investors and female fund managers. The deadline for female fund manager applications is October 16 at midnight PDT, and notification of application status will be made by October 27. Managers of hedge funds, private equity/credit, venture capital, real estate, commodity, infrastructure, long-only and other strategies are welcome to apply.
Registrations from allocators and investment consultants are accepted on a rolling basis, although early registration is appreciated for optimal event planning. Male allocators and consultants are welcome and encouraged to register.
Registration and event information
Thanks to the generosity of the event’s sponsor, J.P. Morgan, and the event platform provider, iConnections, as well as the volunteer efforts of our Global FundWomen Week committee, there is no fee to attend this conference. 100WF asks that all conference participants become a member of the organization, if they have not already done so.
2020 Global FundWomen Week is part of 100WF’s FundWomen initiative, a campaign to elevate the public visibility of female investment professionals, and to enable stronger connections with the institutional investment community. Female fund managers are encouraged to join our public directory, which is increasingly used by industry conference producers and the media to source talent for their programming.
