JumpStart Brazil 2026

Sep 8, 2026

JumpStart Brazil 2026 brought together 40 students and recent graduates for an afternoon of learning, exchange, and connection with senior women across Brazil’s financial industry. The program offered participants practical insights into career opportunities, emerging areas of the market, and the skills needed to begin and build a career in finance.

The program opened with Nanda Mateus (ANBIMA), who provided guidance on industry certifications, followed by Adriana Dupita (Bloomberg), who shared an overview of the economic landscape and discussed career opportunities across the financial sector.

Participants then explored some of the areas shaping the industry today. A panel on alternative funds featured Carolina Oliveira (Pátria Investimentos) and Aline Camelier, CFA (Vinci Compass), moderated by Francine Balbina (Apex Group). The conversation introduced participants to this growing area of the market and offered perspectives on how young professionals can take their first steps into the sector.

The afternoon also looked ahead to the changing financial landscape through a discussion on AI in the financial market. Paula O Gomes Abrahão (Azul Linhas Aéreas) and Camila Lima (Apex Group), moderated by Mariana Betzos (UBS), explored how AI is transforming the industry, the impact on competitiveness, and what these changes may mean for the next generation entering the workforce.

The program concluded with the popular Elevator Pitch session, led by Patricia Amorim, Camilla Bonomi, and Fabiana Lacerda (Vinci Compass). Participants had the opportunity to practice presenting themselves and receive direct feedback from senior professionals and members of 100 Women in Finance, helping them strengthen their communication skills and build confidence as they prepare to enter the industry.

Throughout the afternoon, participants connected directly with women from banks, asset managers, private equity firms, and investment funds, creating an important exchange between experienced professionals and the next generation of female talent. JumpStart Brazil 2026 provided not only practical career guidance, but also greater exposure to the range of opportunities available across Brazil’s financial sector.
