(NEW YORK, FEB. 3, 2025) — 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”), a global non-profit organization for professionals who work in the finance industry, announced today Karin van Baardwijk, CEO at Robeco Asset Management, will receive its 2025 EMEA Industry Leadership Award. Each year, the Award acknowledges outstanding professional talent, unwavering business ethics, and a profound dedication to investing, setting new benchmarks of excellence within the industry. Ms. van Baardwijk will be honored for this achievement at the 100WF London Gala on Wednesday, March 5, at the V&A South Kensington, London.

Karin van Baardwijk is the CEO of Robeco, an international asset manager headquartered in Rotterdam with 15 offices worldwide and approximately 950 employees. Robeco focuses on creating wealth and well-being by generating returns for clients and contributing to economic stability and sustainability. Karin joined Robeco in 2006 and has held various senior roles, including Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer, before becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2022. She has been recognized for her leadership, winning the ‘Best Dutch Female Leader of the Year’ award in 2024 and being named one of the most influential women in Financial News’ European sustainable finance list. Karin is active on several boards, including the Dutch Fund and Asset Management Association and the Kunsthal modern art museum. She holds double master’s degrees in business economics and corporate law from the University of Utrecht.
