Women in Finance MidCareer London group hosted a dinner on 27 May for finance professionals in portfolio management and trading roles with 10–20 years of experience.
The discussion focused on some of the most topical themes in markets today, including how AI is disrupting the industry, the threats and opportunities it creates, and the tools people are using to improve productivity. The participants also explored longer-term trade ideas, such as energy security and biotech, as well as the risk of consensus trading as AI becomes increasingly embedded in daily market activity. Central bank expectations, latest trends in public and private markets and the real estate sector were also touched upon.
