In 2018, Megan co-founded Blue Orbit Asset Management, a boutique quantitative equities asset manager. As well as being a founding shareholder, she is a Portfolio Manager and is a director on the Blue Orbit board.
Blue Orbit has, from its inception, been committed to diversity and inclusion- with gender equality a key area of focus, given the low representation of women in the investment management space. Megan has 13 years of experience in equities markets, with the past 9 years in portfolio management of quantitative equity strategies. She has worked at some of the largest institutional fund managers in Australia, such as IFM Investors and IOOF Pty Ltd. Megan also is a small cap equities trading specialist, having experience as a sell-side equities trader focused on trading of illiquid small and micro cap equities.
Megan is a CFA Charterholder and CIPM Certificant, and holds Bachelors degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
