On June 16, the 100 Women in Finance New York Education Committee hosted The Future of Advisory Roles and Navigating Boardroom Pathways at CIFC Asset Management in New York.
The discussion featured Louise Broekman of Advisory Board Centre and Silene Lim of CIFC Asset Management, who explored the evolving role of advisory boards and how they can help organizations strengthen decision-making, execute strategy, and navigate change.
The conversation also focused on the opportunities advisory roles can offer finance professionals looking to build or expand their board portfolios. Attendees heard practical insights on identifying opportunities that align with their experience, professional goals, and areas where they can make a meaningful contribution.
The evening concluded with a networking reception, giving members the opportunity to continue the conversation and connect with industry peers.
Thank you to Louise and Silene for sharing their insights, to the New York Education Committee for organizing the event, and to CIFC Asset Management for hosting and sponsoring the evening.
