100 Women in Finance (“100WF”), a global nonprofit finance industry organization, today announces the expansion to its 28th global location, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
Now in its 20th year, 100WF has long been known for its work in career advancement, development of the next generation of professionals, women’s industry leadership and social impact on pre-career education for young women.
Amanda Pullinger, CEO, 100WF, said of the new location: “Utah is the fifth fastest growing state in the nation and the best state for business and careers as rated by Forbes. The state has seen tremendous growth in both the finance and technology sectors over the past two decades. 100WF members who relocated to Salt Lake City realized the importance of building a community of finance professionals and saw opportunities to reach the next generation of students. We are excited to welcome Salt Lake City and look forward to its regional activities in furthering the organization’s mission.”
Linda Lasater, Wasatch Global Investors, one of the four founding committee members for the location with Joni Jensen, HSBC, Molly Lynn, Addepar, and Amy Johnson, Grandeur Peak Global Advisors, stated, “We are thrilled to be bringing 100 Women in Finance to Salt Lake City.
