100 Women in Finance to host second annual Impact Investing Symposium in New York City

Building on last year’s success, the Symposium will bring together experts to examine and discuss the latest developments in the impact and sustainable investing ecosystem

 

NEW YORK, (September 5, 2024) – 100 Women in Finance (“100WF”), a global finance industry network committed to empowering women in finance, will convene impact investing leaders at the Impact Investing Symposium on October 1st in New York City at @Ease 605.

The Symposium will feature panels of experts, leadership armchairs and group discussions, and will tackle topics like environmental capital, impact and sustainable financing, clean energy, and how to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion into investor decision-making. Attendees will gather to share wisdom on sustainable investment values, hear from leaders on the latest industry developments and work together to come up with solutions to challenges affecting the impact investing ecosystem.

Last year’s sold-out inaugural event brought together nearly 250 thought leaders and industry peers, as well as college and university students from the Tristate area. The event’s discussions highlighted the increasing significance of environmental, social and governance factors when making investment choices, and the prevailing themes that emerged resonated strongly with 100 Women in Finance’s mission and Vision 30/40, which seeks to attain gender parity and diversity in the finance industry by 2040.
