Jennifer Ancker Whelen is a professional in the finance industry, currently serving as Chief Client Officer at Graham Capital Management (“Graham”), an $18B AUM alternative investment manager. Throughout her career, Jen has remained dedicated to driving positive change and empowering women in finance, making an impact on the lives of many. Her involvement as one of the early members of 100 Women in Finance (100WF) has played a role in the organization’s mission of promoting diversity, visibility, and empowering women to pursue their own unique paths to success.

Recognized for her industry contributions, Jen received the Hedge Fund Journal 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds Award in 2013. Her dedication to allocator outcomes has earned her a position as Graham’s Chief Client Officer and as a member of the firm’s Executive, Investment, and Risk Committees. In these roles, Jen has been instrumental in cultivating strategic relationships with global clients, institutional investors, and consultants. Jen is also an active member of Graham’s Women’s Network, where she currently serves as a mentor and previously co-chaired the group.

Prior to joining Graham Capital Management in 2007, Jen served as Partner and Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Stadia Capital, LLC, a long/short equity hedge fund. Jen graduated cum laude from Colby College in Maine, where she earned her B.A. in Economics with a minor in Sociology.

Outside of her professional achievements, Jen actively participates in philanthropic endeavors and serves as a board trustee and member of the Finance Committee at Seven Acres Montessori in Wilton, CT. Additionally, she is a member of the Colby College 1813 Society Committee, contributing to the institution’s ongoing mission of preparing talented students to thrive in a rapidly changing global landscape.

Her personal experiences and commitment to promoting gender equality in the finance industry inspire those around her. Jen is grateful for the meaningful connections she established early in her career through the 100WF network and values her membership in the 100WF community.
